Marketing Manager

Responsible for managing marketing functions, special events, advertising, production, and signage for the property.

Manages all major Marketing events to ensure the success of the events.

Accurately tracks all projects to the departments financial budget; manages promotions and projects within defined budget.

Responsible for development and implementation of successful media and advertising plan.

Provides media and advertising effectiveness reporting to Director of Marketing and Senior Director of Marketing and Sales.

Responsible for knowing and understanding marketing systems including, but not limited to, the Player Database Tracking System and functionalities.

Reviews advertising/production activities and promotional status with the Director of Marketing.

Responsible for developing and implementing promotions calendar.

Responsible for developing and implementing a sales plan.

Manages evaluation process on all marketing materials and events with Marketing, Finance, and operating departments as applicable.

Maintain accurate and up to date records for all staff trainings.

Manages staff, conducts interviews, recommends hires, disciplines, trains, and evaluates all personnel in compliance with HR policies.

Assists with the safety and security of all guests and employees.

Required to take and pass tests related to Internal Control Procedures

Other duties as directed.

Excellent communication skills.  Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.  Skill in English grammar and spelling.  Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.  Ability to perform intermediate math.  Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.  Develop a strong knowledge of the Internal Control System.  Understand and comply with the Internal Control System, BHCR training materials, and all HR policies.  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information relative to financial data, casino internal controls, company promotions, and with the identity of any person at the facility or any activity at the facility is essential.
