Boot Hill Casino & Resort Roulette
Rules of the Game
Roulette is simple, easy to play, and exciting, with a wide variety of bets and combinations of bets, some at long odds, and some at even odds. The Roulette Wheel has 38 spots; numbers from 1 to 36, plus a “0” and a “00.” The numbers are alternately colored red and black with “0” and the “00” green.
Wagers may be made with Roulette Cheques (non-value cheques of various distinct colors which can be assigned a monetary value and are used so that multiple players may wager with same value cheques). When Cheques are purchased at the table, the Dealer will issue each player an individual color of Cheque. These Cheques help the Dealer and player keep track of each individual’s bets.
Play begins when the Players have placed most of their bets by placing chips on the numbered layout. The Dealer then spins the white ball in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. Bets may be placed until the ball is a few revolutions away from leaving the track and the Dealer calls “No More Bets.” The Dealer will mark the number in which the ball has landed and pay all winning bets accordingly.
Bets are placed in many different ways on the table, and on a variety of numbers for different reasons. Players may choose to change numbers every spin or play favorite numbers; birthdays, ages, or even decorative geometric patterns.
